No potable water, no hookups, no host, and roads turn slick in wet weather. Anyone expecting a picnic table, a tap, or a cell signal will be disappointed well before they reach the vault toilet.

Please pack-out all you pack-in. Camping stay limit is 16 days.</p>

Summer is most reliable. Daytime highs run from the mid-60s to mid-80s°F, with nights dropping into the 40s and 50s. This is when fishing, hiking, and OHV use peak, and the long daylight hours make dispersed camping comfortable. Weekends draw moderate crowds, but weekdays offer plenty of private shoreline spots. Winter brings freezing temperatures and snow. Spring is variable with lingering snow showers. Fall turns crisp with the possibility of early snow as the season shifts.
