If amenities matter: Atlanta adds a park store, biking trails, and basketball courts beyond what Clear Springs offers, with similarly spacious wooded sites.

If you want wooded hiking trails: Piney Point offers dedicated hiking paths through loblolly pines alongside the same lake access and hookups.

If you want quieter and scenic: Sportsman's Cove is a smaller peninsula site prized for sunrise and sunset views over the water rather than a large full-service campground.
