Twin lakes in north central Pennsylvania with overnight and dayuse facilities in a scenic environment, southwest of Tioga, PA and north of Wellsboro on PA Route 287, which is acessable from U.S. Route 15 northeast of Tioga and U.S. Route 6 north of Wellsboro, PA.

Fall offers the best combination of comfortable weather, spectacular foliage, and quieter trails — daytime highs typically range from the mid-50s to upper-60s°F (10–20°C) with crisp nights in the 30s–40s°F (0–8°C). Lake levels are still good for boating and fishing through early October, while the surrounding hardwood ridges turn vivid oranges and reds, making hiking and photography excellent. Crowd levels drop from summer peak, though leaf-peeping weekends can still be busy, so midweek stays or Peak months: October, September, June, May Avoid: November, December, January, February
