Driving directionsFrom Beaver, Oregon: Trip takes about 17 miles from Beaver. Head east on Blaine Rd. At Blaine, take a slight right to continue onto NF-85/Upper Nestucca Rd. The main road will switch from NF-85 and Upper Nestucca River Rd, which finally turns into Nestucca River Rd. Alder Glen Recreation Site will be on the right.
The site is located along the Nestucca River Back Country Byway, accessible via narrow and winding roads. The Byway is open year-round but may be hazardous due to snow and ice. Log trucks may also be encountered throughout the year.
