Trails are driest and longest daylight windows make multi-mile hikes and ridge-to-coast routes far more enjoyable; the temperate rainforest is still lush but with fewer storm interruptions. However, the campground lacks potable water, electrical, water, or sewer hookups. Campers are advised to treat water from the nearby creek before drinking. The entire campground can be reserved for group use at $120 per night, accommodating between 20 and 60 people, with reservations required 30 days in advance. Group reservations are unavailable during Memorial Day, Fourth of July, and Labor Day weekends.
