Go if

Families and beach campers who book early and grab one of the sheltered hiker/biker sites: you get direct sand access over a low dune, tide pools at low tide, and free hot showers without the crowded feel of the main RV section.

Skip if

Campers who value site privacy will find the exposed dune-side spots disappointing, and a handful of reviews describe an unwelcoming atmosphere toward people outside the local cultural mainstream, if you've had that experience at similar parks, it's worth factoring in here.
