<p>Riley Horse Campground is an equestrian camp located northwest of Oregon's majestic Mt. Hood. Horse corrals are tucked into the Forest near the campsites, and several horseback riding trails can be accessed from the campground. A variety of recreational and sightseeing opportunities are available for visitors to enjoy.</p><p>This campground was constructed by <a href="https://www.oregonequestriantrails.org/">Oregon Equestrian Trails (OET)</a> volunteers in partnership with Mt. Hood National Forest.</p><ul><li>The campsites are intended for equestrians, but may be used by others.</li><li>14 sites located on Lost Creek, near the Wild and Scenic Sandy River.</li><li>Average spur length = 35 feet</li><li>Has seasonal gate</li></ul>

Summer offers the most reliable weather and full campground services (corrals, trails and river access) — expect daytime highs around 70–85°F and cool nights in the mid-40s to low-50s. Trail riding, mountain biking and fishing on nearby streams and the Sandy River are at their peak, with long daylight hours for extended outings.
