No water on-site means you're hauling everything in, and with only three sites and no hookups, it's a poor fit for anyone expecting real facilities or planning more than a night or two.

Summer is the prime season, with daytime highs around 70–85°F and cool nights dropping into the low 40s to low 50s. This is when fishing, swimming, and mountain biking are best, though late summer brings lower stream flows and wildfire risk, so check current restrictions before heading out. Winter sees snow about 21% of the time. The campground's three sites fill slowly even in peak season, maintaining a quiet atmosphere.
