<p>The San Antonio Group Campground is located in the San Antonio Campground. This area has towering ponderosa pines, open forest meadows, and has the San Antonio River running alongside it. Visitors can access the paved walking trail found in the campground. There are 11 parking spaces for the nine campsites in the group area.</p><p><strong>Facilities:</strong> Group site with nine walk-in camp sites and a pavilion which accommodates up to people. The campground has vault toilets and drinking water spigots. No dump station is available. </p>

Best season: summer. Summer at San Antonio Campground delivers warm, sun-filled days (typically 65–85°F) and cool, crisp nights (40–50°F), making it ideal for high-elevation hiking, river fishing for trout, and extended evenings around the campfire. Wildflower displays spill from meadows into trail corridors in early summer and wildlife activity is high, while afternoon monsoon storms (July–August) add dramatic skies and short-lived cooling — plan hikes for mornings. Campsites are busiest in July–early August and on Peak months: July, August, September, June Avoid: November, December, January, February
Peak season: creek access and cool nights make summer popular, though monsoon storms and mud occur.
