Paliza Campground is located within the Jemez Ranger District of the Santa Fe National Forest and offers a mix of modern amenities and natural charm. The campground provides picnic tables, lantern posts, and campfire rings with grills at all sites. Roads within the campground are paved, ensuring accessibility for vehicles. Accessible vault toilets are available, which reviewers have highlighted for their exceptional cleanliness: 'The vault toilets were excellent! You could spend an hour in them and not be grossed out' (A Smith, 2020). However, there is no potable water on-site, and visitors are advised to bring their own supply. Sites include options for tent and RV camping, as well as group sites accommodating up to 100 people. The campground also features remnants of a 1930s Civilian Conservation Corps base camp, adding a historical touch.
