Summer offers the most reliable access and the fullest range of activities — warm, sunny days (typically 60–75°F) with cool nights (35–45°F) make hiking, trout fishing, and paddling on the 14-acre lake ideal. Trails and boat access are fully open and wildlife is active, while long daylight hours let you enjoy early-morning fishing and late-evening ridge walks. Expect moderate crowds on holiday weekends and afternoon thunderstorms (Monsoon season) — pack layers, rain gear, and sunscreen, and plan Peak months: July, August, June, September Avoid: October, November, December, January
