Fall is the sweet spot here. Daytime temps run 55–75°F with crisp mornings in the 40s–50s, bugs disappear, and the hardwoods hit peak color. Spring brings wildflowers and migrants. Summer gets warm but the trails stay walkable. Mild winters offer solitude if you want it. Weekends draw the biggest crowds in fall, but weekdays stay manageable.

Raven Rock State Park Campground provides a variety of amenities. It features a bathhouse with separate men's and women's restrooms and showers, along with a family restroom that is ADA accessible. There are numerous water spigots and trash and recycling cans dispersed throughout the campground.
