Pets are a hard no. No showers, no dump station, and no potable water on-site rules this out for anyone expecting full-service RV hookups beyond electric. Bring every drop of water you'll need.

Summer delivers reliably warm weather with daytime highs in the mid-70s to mid-80s°F and nights in the mid-50s to low-60s, making it the most popular season for camping, swimming, and paddling the St. Croix. Long daylight hours fit in hikes and evening naturalist programs, but expect higher weekend crowds and heavy mosquitoes and biting flies in July and August. Reviewers consistently prefer fall for comfortable temperatures, vibrant foliage, and fewer insects, though spring and early summer bring wildflowers and active wildlife at the cost of mud and bugs near wetlands. Winter maintains groomed cross-country ski trails and a peaceful, snowy atmosphere, with facilities and buildings still open.
Summer is most popular—warm days, swimming, paddling and busiest season per overview.
