Go if

Families with young kids who want motorized boating, bass fishing, and a calm shallow swimming area on a 100-acre forest lake. Double-family sites at $40 let two camping units share one spot, which works well for group trips.

Skip if

No vault toilets, no potable water, no showers. If hauling all your own water sounds like a dealbreaker, this campground will grind on you by day two.
