Dirt bikers and ATV riders who want cheap, direct access to Kisatchie's trail system will find this hard to beat in spring, when the longleaf pine forest is cool, creeks are running, and trails hold up well. Pack all your water and haul out your trash.
Hikers and mountain bikers get the short end here. Motorized traffic on the trails is a real safety issue, and the sandy terrain turns mountain biking into an immediate frustration. No water, no hookups, and just one site means this place has a narrow audience.

Spring is the best time to visit. March through April sees daytime highs in the mid-50s to upper-70s°F with cool nights and lower humidity than summer. Wildflowers bloom, creeks flow well, and insect pressure stays manageable early in the season. Trails stay in good condition. Summer brings heat and humidity. The camp stays open year-round, but crowds pick up on holidays.

The Enduro Camp offers basic amenities including vault toilets and a picnic pavilion. However, potable water is not available, and there are no trash receptacles, meaning visitors need to pack out all their trash. According to official sources, the site fee is $10 per single site per night. There are no water, electricity, or sewer hookups available. The campground is currently closed due to hurricane damage.
