Trails and creek-side spots are at their peak for hiking, wildlife viewing, and lingering evenings around the provided fire rings and grills; wildflowers are abundant in June–July and the forest canopy makes daytime hiking comfortable. Lake Fork Campground is a small and scenic facility featuring nine campsites along the North Fork of Lake Fork Creek. The campground offers basic amenities such as fire rings, charcoal grills, and picnic tables at each site. "This campground features nine sites along the North Fork of Lake Fork Creek" and is designed for a rustic experience. Drinking water is centrally located, and there are two vault toilets for visitors. However, there are no electrical, water, or sewer hookups available, nor are there trash receptacles. Visitors are required to pack out their own trash. "Please pack out your trash."
