The vault toilet has gone out of service at least once with no camp host to fix it, and there's no potable water on site. Car campers and anyone without boat access simply can't get here.

Summer delivers the best conditions. Daytime highs run 70-85°F, nights drop to 45-55°F. Lake temperatures reach the 60s and low 70s, warm enough for swimming. Long daylight hours and reliable sun make this the prime season for boating and beach use. Fall brings sharp temperature drops. Winter makes the area unsuitable for camping.
