Nestled along the southern edge of the Cross Florida Greenway, Shangri-La Trailhead & Campground offers an inviting basecamp amid rolling sandhills and shaded xeric hammock. You'll find well-maintained shell sites, clean bathhouse facilities with hot showers, two covered pavilions for gathering, and the welcoming presence of year-round campground hosts—all just steps from an extensive network of marked trails perfect for hiking, biking, and horseback riding.

Compacted shell campsites without electrical hookups; accommodates horse rigs and trailers and includes equestrian-capable day-use trailhead and facilities. On-site campground hosts are present year-round.

Equestrians, mountain bikers, and hikers who want immediate trail access without roughing it completely. Sites are large enough for horse trailers, the bathhouse stays clean, and supplies are a couple of miles out.

Skip if

No electrical hookups anywhere on the loop, so RVers running medical equipment or anyone dependent on shore power won't make it work. Sites near the neighborhood edge also pick up road noise, and generator hum from neighbors is a real overnight factor.
