No horses, no trip. There are no hookups, no potable water, no fire rings (active burn ban as of April 2026), and pets aren't allowed, so this place has nothing to offer anyone who didn't haul in on four hooves.
Compare with similar sites, watch availability, and build a packing list — Camp Sage handles all of it.
Late fall through early spring brings the most comfortable camping and riding, with reduced heat, humidity, and biting insects. Fall delivers daytime highs in the 70s–80s°F and nighttime lows in the 50s–60s°F from October into November, with generally drier weather and fewer afternoon thunderstorms than summer. Winter weekends and holidays tend to be busier. Hot summer months are quieter but bring more mosquitoes and afternoon storms.
Peak season with warm days. Most facilities open. Reserve ahead.
