About Myakka River State Park Campground

Please note: Currently, drinking water is temporarily unavailable at the park—bring plenty of your own, or pick up complimentary bottles at the ranger station (8 a.m. to sunset). Due to drought conditions, Sarasota County's burn ban is in effect, meaning no campfires are allowed, though you can still use grills three feet or smaller for cooking. The boat launch and bird walk are also temporarily closed.
Ca Campground exclusively features cabin lodging, with no indicators of primitive, tent, or RV camping. It is tailored for visitors seeking comfort and modern amenities.
