Summer offers the best combination of warm Gulf waters and full access to bay swimming, fishing, and long daylight hours for youth group activities; expect daytime highs around 84–90°F and muggy evenings in the mid-70s. Water-based activities (swimming, paddling, fishing) are at their peak and the picnic shelter, outdoor showers and campfire ring make group logistics easy.
