Summer delivers the most reliable weather and full access to French Meadows Reservoir — expect warm, sun‑filled days in the mid‑70s to low‑80s°F and crisp nights in the mid‑40s to low‑50s°F at 5,200 ft. This is peak time for boating, swimming, trout fishing, long alpine hikes and group gatherings at the campground when water levels are high and trails are clear.
