Best season: summer. Summer offers the warmest, driest weather and the best access to the campground's water-based activities—expect daytime highs roughly 75–95°F and cool nights in the 45–60°F range. River and creek levels are typically low enough for safe swimming, boating, and easy fishing, while trails are dry and great for longer hikes and mountain biking. Daylight is long and wildlife is active at dawn and dusk, though weekend crowds rise in July and August, so plan weekdays for more solitude. Peak months: July, August, September, June Avoid: December, January, February
Summer is best: safe swimming and easy fishing (June–Aug) and warmer daytime temps.
Potable water is not available at this site.
