Summer delivers the best conditions: warm days between 65 and 80°F, cool nights dropping into the mid-30s to mid-40s. Trails stay clear, daylight stretches long, and wildflowers bloom through early summer. Weekends see moderate use but nothing compared to lower-elevation parks. Snow closes access in winter. Spring and fall shoulder seasons can be unpredictable at this elevation.
Summer is best: 65–80°F, clear trails and wildflowers through early summer.
Potable water is not available at this site. 6/20/2025: Water not potable yet.
