Go if

Fall shoulder-season campers who want a real forest creek, solitude, and zero fees will find this place often completely empty after Labor Day, with vault toilets and picnic tables already in place.

Skip if

No potable water on-site means packing every drop you'll need, and with no hookups, no showers, and no cell coverage mentioned, anyone who needs connectivity or running water should look elsewhere in the forest.

Overview

In the majestic Warner Mountains at 5,600 feet of elevation, along a sparkling stream with white fir and ponderosa pine trees surrounding it, Cedar Pass Campground is the perfect spot for easy-access rest and relaxation. It is an amazing location to have a mid-day picnic or a short overnight stay. This is also one of the best locations to view fall colors in the Warners.
