<p>Green Springs has two corrals and one trough with a hose that can be placed in the spring if it is running. The area is mostly pine trees. There are six sites at this disperse style campground. There is a trailhead at the campground that connects you to the Summit trail system in the Yolla Bolly Wilderness.</p>

Summer offers the most reliable weather and trail access — expect warm, sunny days in the 65–85°F range and cool nights dropping into the 40s–50s, making long hikes into the Yolla Bolly Wilderness comfortable. Hiking and backcountry day trips are at their peak, and the campground’s four secluded sites mean you’ll usually have quiet, star-filled evenings with very low crowds.
