Best season: spring. Spring offers the best combination of mild weather and active natural life — expect crisp mornings around 40–45°F that warm into the mid‑50s to low‑60s by afternoon, ideal for hiking and fishing along the trout stream. Wildflowers, fresh green oak understory, and active wildlife make trail and photography outings especially rewarding, while sandstone formations are comfortable to explore before summer heat. Crowd levels are generally low to moderate (weekends busier), and trails are usually in a Peak months: April, May, March, October
Spring called the best season: mild temps, flowing streams and wildflowers in bloom.
