Lake Greeson, AR, on the Little Missouri River, has many hunting and fishing opportunities as well as camping, swimming and boating. The lake is a wintering site for bald eagles. A nature trail allows the visitor to reach the site of a cinnabar mine. The 31-mile-long cycle trail and the Chimney Rock geological formation are also located at Lake Greeson.
From Little Rock, AR, 60 miles south on I-30 to AR 26. Then, 37 miles west to Murfreesboro, then 6 miles north on AR 27.

Summer offers the warmest, most reliable conditions for the campground’s primary draws: boating, swimming and warm-water fishing on Lake Greeson, with daytime highs typically in the mid-80s to low-90s°F and humid evenings. The boat ramp and Bear Creek Cycle Trail are in full use and bass/striped bass fishing is at its peak, making it ideal for anglers and paddlers. Expect moderate to busy weekends and holiday crowds at the small 19-site loop, so plan weekdays or arrive early for first-come sites Peak months: June, July, August, May Avoid: December, January, February

Bear Creek Campground is a first-come, first-served campground featuring 19 non-electric campsites. Amenities include potable water available at a water hydrant located in the main loop near the boat ramp parking lot, campfire rings, grills, lantern posts, paved roads, picnic tables, and benches. There are pit toilets available for use, and pets are allowed. The campground also offers access to a boat ramp and the Bear Creek Cycle Trail, which has a designated off-road vehicle (ORV) loading/unloading area. Firewood must be purchased locally to prevent forest pests.
