Best season: fall. Fall offers the best combination of scenery and reliable access — expect crisp, clear days and spectacular aspen color in mid- to late-September with daytime highs commonly in the 40s–60s°F and nights dropping into the 20s–30s°F. Fishing on Sage Creek is excellent as water temperatures cool, wildlife (elk, mule deer) are more active and visible during the rut, and insect pressure is minimal. Crowds are light compared with lower-elevation parks, though you may encounter hunters during big-game 시즌 Peak months: September, October, August, July Avoid: January, February, March, April
