Summer delivers the most reliable conditions: daytime highs in the low 70s, mornings around 45–50°F. Late June through August brings peak wildflowers and accessible trails, though afternoon thunderstorms build on warm days. Winter temperatures drop to around 10°F, blanketing the meadow in snow. Spring and fall see occasional dustings that can surprise unprepared campers. The high-altitude air stays dry year-round, which means sun protection matters and campfires burn clean.
Summer temps in low 70s, wildflowers late June-August and most reliable conditions.
