The Narrows Campground is located next to scenic New Fork Lake, at the edge of the Wind River Range in northwestern Wyoming. The campground is situated in a dense grove of aspens, at an elevation of 7,800 feet. Shade is plentiful and most sites afford scenic lake views. Visitors enjoy hiking and horseback riding into the adjacent Bridger Wilderness, as well as boating and fishing on the lake. The access road to the campground is not paved, drinking water is not available, and proper Food Storage is Required.

The elevation is 7,900 ft. This pretty little campground, adjacent to the narrows or neck of New Fork Lake and Bridger Wilderness, is composed of two separate spurs. One is nearer the lake than the other, but both have camping sites overlooking the lake. The campground is located in a grove of Aspen trees with a grass understory. Although there is heavy understory, the camping sites are close together providing limited privacy. Corrals and trailer parking space are provided at the New Fork trail head. This is bear country; practice safe food storage techniques.
Open last weekend in May through September 30
In 2013 there were issues with the water system. Water was available but had to be treated. Recommend bring drinking water or contact the district ranger office for status.
New Fork Lake is 1,070 acres. Jet skiing is not permitted. A primitive boat ramp is located 1 mile from the campground.

Narrows Campground offers a rustic camping experience with essential amenities. The campground contains single-family campsites equipped with picnic tables and campfire rings. There are two vault toilets available at convenient locations. The roads and parking spurs throughout the campground are unpaved, consisting of native soils. As one user review highlighted, "Camp spaces are large and have a fire pit with a picnic table. Bear boxes [are] at each camp for coolers." However, the site lacks water, electric, or sewer hookups, as confirmed in multiple reviews: "No water (need to fill up in Pinedale or haul the entire way) or electricity." Additionally, there is no dump station on-site, with the closest located in Pinedale.
