Big rigs will find the electric hookup sites tight and maneuvering awkward. Beach swimmers expecting sand will also be disappointed: the lake is motor-boat oriented with no developed beach, and the dark tannin water reads murky to some.
Compare with similar sites, watch availability, and build a packing list — Camp Sage handles all of it.
Summer is the main season here. Daytime highs run mid-70s to mid-80s°F (24–30°C), and the lake warms enough for comfortable swimming by June or July. All facilities operate during summer, including hot showers and on-site firewood sales. Weekends fill up with families; weekdays are quieter.
