You can reach Olympic National Park via the I-5 corridor or by any one of the quieter state roadways. Once you arrive on the Olympic Peninsula connect to Hwy 101 to reach any destinations in and around Olympic National Park. From Olympia: take I-5 to Hwy 101 From Tacoma: take State Route 16 to Bremerton; take State Route 3 north from Bremerton to State Route 104. From Washington/Oregon Coast connect to Hwy 101 in Aberdeen.

Summer offers the most reliably accessible weather for exploring the coast and rainforest — daytime temperatures are typically cool and pleasant (about 50–65°F) with misty mornings and lower chances of heavy rain. Tidepooling, beachcombing at Rialto, hiking nearby trails, biking and fishing from the Quillayute Valley are at their peak, and campground services are fully staffed during the reservable season. Expect higher visitor numbers in July–August, so reserve a site (reservations open May 23– Peak months: July, August, June, September

Mora Campground is nestled in a coastal forest in Olympic National Park, offering 94 campsites, including one accessible site. Amenity highlights include potable water and flush toilets located throughout the campground. Each campsite features a fire ring and picnic table. RVs up to 35 feet can navigate select sites, though maneuvering can be challenging due to narrow roads and low tree branches. There are no electrical hookups, Wi-Fi, or formal laundry facilities, but there is a dump station available during the summer for $10 ($5 for Senior or Access Pass holders).
