Best season: summer. Summer offers the warmest, most reliable weather and full access to the campground (open May 16–Sept 12), with daytime highs commonly in the mid-60s to upper-70s°F and cool nights in the mid-40s to low-50s. Trails are generally snow-free, the Stillaguamish River is at pleasant flows for fishing and river access, and group activities (swimming, hiking, and evening campfires) are at their peak. Expect moderate to busy crowds on summer weekends along the Mountain Loop Scenic Byway, with quieter mid Peak months: July, August, June, September Avoid: October, November, December, January
Open May 16–Sep 12; summer offers reliable weather, trails access, and better swimming by July/August.
Reservation tips, booking windows, and free cancellation alerts.
The campground offers basic amenities suited for group camping experiences. Visitors benefit from tables and campfire rings with grills at each site, alongside accessible vault toilets. However, potable water is not available, and visitors must bring their own supply. The surroundings feature tranquil views of the Stillaguamish River and old-growth cedar, fir, and hemlock forests. Some reviews highlight the limited central gathering space and spread-out layout of the sites.
