Best season: summer. Summer offers the most reliable access and the warm, dry weather ideal for group camping, with daytime highs typically in the mid-60s to upper-70s°F (18–26°C) and cool nights in the mid-40s to mid-50s°F (7–13°C). Trails are fully free of snow, stream flows are lower for safe fishing and wading, and the old-growth forest provides pleasant shade for day hikes and wildlife viewing. Expect moderate to busy weekends (especially July–early September) but very pleasant conditions for multi-day river- & Peak months: July, August, June, September Avoid: October, November, December, January
