About Coolidge State Park

Step back in time at Coolidge State Park, a rustic 1930s-era retreat nestled within Vermont's Calvin Coolidge State Forest. This hillside haven offers sweeping mountain vistas, miles of woodland trails, and that authentic back-to-nature camping experience—complete with just-right modern touches like flush toilets, hot showers, and RV hookups.

The park has 26 tent/RV drive-in sites and 36 lean-to sites (including remote lean-tos) and a group camping area.

Historical Significance

Established with major CCC development in the 1930s, Coolidge State Park retains much of its historic character and is adjacent to the historic village of Plymouth Notch, the birthplace of President Calvin Coolidge.
