Stateline Campground sits at 9,200 feet on the northern slope of the Uinta Mountains, beside Stateline Reservoir and 21 miles from Mountain View, Wyoming. The campground provides vault toilets, potable water, and a dump station across the road. Summer is the most reliable season for access at this elevation.

Summer offers the most reliable access and the best weather at 9,200 ft — expect daytime highs around 55–75°F and cool nights in the 30s–40s — making it ideal for hiking, canoeing/boating on Stateline Reservoir, and peak wildflower displays. Fishing and paddling are at their best once the ice is gone (typically June onward), and trail access into the High Uintas is most dependable. Natural Features and SceneryThe campground occupies a forest of lodgepole pine, ponderosa pine, and quaking aspen at the edge of Stateline Reservoir. The Uintas run east-west, unlike most North American ranges. Wildflowers and native grasses bloom through summer. Moose browse the reservoir shallows at dawn and dusk, and deer pass through camp regularly. The China Meadows Trailhead nearby opens into High Uintas backcountry.
