This timbered campground is popular for the local fishing and is close to the lake with a boat ramp.

The elevation is 8,900 ft. The campground, physically located in the Dead Horse ATV trail area of Utah, is scenic and wanders along the west shore of Bridger Lake. A Lilly pad-encircled natural lake, large camping sites are nestled into Lodgepole pine. Many of the camping sites overlook the lake. The campground has two wheelchair friendly camping sites adjacent to wheelchair friendly vaults. Many of the parking aprons will accommodate any size RV. Although there is almost no understory or middlestory, spacing between sites provides good privacy. Bridger Lake appears to be a good canoeing lake and with the fishing and hiking, is a nice family campground. Wildlife viewing is possible.

Expect daytime highs around 55–75°F and crisp nights in the low 30s–40s, with frequent afternoon thunderstorms — plan mornings for hiking and paddling. Fishing, boating, wildlife viewing and wildflower photography are at their peak, and sites fill on holiday weekends but remain reasonably uncrowded midweek. Peak months: July, August, June Avoid: September, October, November, December
Open mid‑June to early Sept; prime season with most activities though afternoon storms common.
