Overnight camping isn't available here at all, and the Texas White House is currently under renovation, so visitors counting on full access to the main historic structures should confirm what's open before making the trip.
Compare with similar sites, watch availability, and build a packing list — Camp Sage handles all of it.

Winter days settle into the low 60s with 40-degree mornings, good for wildlife watching but with fewer crowds. Thunderstorms occasionally sweep through, refreshing the landscape.

The Lyndon B. Johnson State Park and Historic Site offers a range of amenities that cater to day visitors rather than overnight campers, as there are no campsites within the facility. Key amenities include surfaced roads and trails for biking, picnic areas, clean restrooms, a playground, and a designated visitor center/museum. Other features include scenic overlooks, historical features, and opportunities for stargazing and wildlife viewing. A pool is available seasonally, from June through mid-August, Wednesday through Sunday, 12 PM–8 PM, depending on staffing.
