Amenity details are nearly nonexistent, fees for the organized camps add up fast with multiple kids, and adult campers without children enrolled in a program will find little structure here beyond the lake access.

Summer dominates the calendar here. Daytime highs settle in the 90s°F (32–38°C), nights stay warm in the 70s°F (21–25°C). The heat drives most visitors to the water during midday. Archaeological programs run through summer as well, coordinating with peak lake season. Weekends see the heaviest boat traffic as locals arrive. Sun protection is necessary. Water time works best early morning or late afternoon when the heat backs off slightly.
Summer camps and water activities are a primary draw; best for swimming/boating.
