Expect water or electric at your site, there's none. Burn bans are currently active (check before you pack firewood), privacy is tight on most sites, and $26 for primitive-only splits reviewers hard.
Compare with similar sites, watch availability, and build a packing list — Camp Sage handles all of it.
Summer is the best time to visit if your goal is water-based fun. Expect long, hot days with highs commonly in the mid-90s to low-100s °F that make Lake Travis ideal for swimming, boating, and lake fishing. Water levels and warm water temperatures are typically most inviting this time of year. Expect higher weekend crowds and boat traffic, so plan weekdays or early-morning and late-afternoon outings for quieter conditions. Winter mornings can drop to around 42°F, better for trail use than lake activities.
Summer is best for swimming, boating and lake fun on Lake Travis (though hot).
