Fall brings mid-50s to mid-70s daytime temperatures, dropping to the 40s and 50s at night. Humidity drops, hardwoods turn color along the river, and mosquitoes ease up compared to summer. Spring offers similar mild conditions with blooming understory. Summer gets hot and draws the most visitors, making early morning the best window for fishing or paddling. Winter is quiet, though some facilities may operate on reduced schedules.
