The campground truly comes alive from late May through early September when Lake Madison becomes a hub of summer activity—think warm sunshine, perfect swimming conditions, and endless days on the water. While Walker's Point welcomes campers year-round, winter visitors should plan for a more rustic experience as water systems, showers, and flush toilets typically close from October 1st through April 30th, making cold-weather camping an adventure for the self-sufficient explorer.
