The foghorn from the lighthouse carries at night and bothers light sleepers regularly. RV sites run small and tight, the dump station is five miles south at Tugman, and ADA-compliant bathroom facilities are not available on site.

Summer delivers the best conditions: daytime highs around 60-70°F, cool nights in the 50s. Lake Marie warms to the 50s and low 60s by July. Weekdays stay quiet, but holiday weekends fill up fast. Winter brings steady Pacific storms and mist. Spring is wetter but less crowded. The foghorn from the nearby lighthouse sounds regularly and bothers some campers, especially at night.
