No reviews exist to confirm current conditions, and the 31-mile drive on Forest Road 39 from Joseph is long and remote. Anyone expecting electrical hookups, showers, or cell service will find none of those here.

Best season: summer. Summer is the clear standout because the Imnaha River corridor is reliably accessible and warm from June through September, with daytime highs typically in the 70s–90s°F (21–32°C) and cool nights in the 40s–50s°F (4–10°C). Trails and river access are at their best for hiking, berry-picking, and trout fishing, and the old-growth ponderosa canopy provides welcome shade during the heat of the day. Expect modest crowds for a 13-site campground—busy on holiday weekends but generally uncrowded on week Peak months: July, August, June, September Avoid: November, December, January, February
Primary use season June–September; warm days in the 70s–90s°F and reliable access.
All 13 sites have picnic tables, fire rings, and parking areas. The campground has a well that provides drinking water and vault toilets; some campsites are accessible. Quiet hours are 10pm to 6am.
