Best season: summer. Summer offers the warmest, most reliable weather and puts Crescent Lake and its shoreline activities at their peak — expect daytime highs around 65–80°F and cool nights in the mid-30s to mid-40s at 4,862 ft. Boating, swimming, and trout fishing are best in July–August when the water is most accessible and trails are fully melted; long daylight and calm mornings make early outings rewarding.
