Summer offers the warmest weather, with daytime highs commonly 75–85°F and nights in the mid-50s to mid-60s. The season brings full access to the reservoir for boating, swimming, and prime walleye and muskie fishing from shore or boat. The flat terrain and shaded sites make setup easy for families and RVers. Expect the busiest conditions on holiday weekends and mid-July through August. Mid-summer weekdays stay quieter, drawing mostly seniors. Reserve lakeside sites early if you're targeting peak season.
