The eastern access road is rough enough that low-clearance vehicles struggle, and with no potable water on-site, anyone unprepared to haul in everything they need will have a bad time.

Wildflowers bloom, trails are fully passable, and wildlife is active mornings and evenings. Winter brings significant snowfall, with flurries possible 30% of the time. Clear skies dominate summer, often exceeding 85% during peak weeks.
