The Eldridge Guard Station is a primitive, rustic structure with limited amenities, designed for visitors seeking a back-to-basics recreational experience. "This is a primitive cabin with limited seasonal access - There is no electricity or potable water available," according to the official description. Essentials like a wood stove, propane gas stove, refrigerator, and basic furniture are provided, but visitors must bring their own cookware, firewood during certain seasons, bedding, and other necessities. "A wood stove is available for heat, and a propane gas stove for cooking. There is also a small propane-powered refrigerator in the cabin."
