Best season: summer. Summer delivers warm, lake-perfect weather (typically daytime highs in the mid‑60s to mid‑70s°F, nights in the 40s–50s°F), making boating, swimming, and fishing on Clubhouse Lake at their peak. The clear, deep glacial waters are ideal for paddling and angling (walleye, bass, northern pike are common), and the long daylight means relaxed evenings under the pine canopy. Expect the highest visitation in July and holiday weekends, but even at peak the campground retains a quiet, forested feel. Peak months: July, August, June, September Avoid: November, December, January, February
Quieter season with fewer campers and good scenic beauty; value season after Labor Day.
